Find a news story from an on-line source that, in your opinion, relates to psychology. Explain what theoretical perspective(s) (biological, behavioral, cognitive, psychoanalytic, humanistic, developmental, or sociocultural) discussed in your textbook and in the lecture notes, in your opinion, best captures the heart of the story and why. In other words, analyze the article based on one or more of the main psychological theoretical perspectives. The story must be a NEWS STORY from a source for NEWS for example, The New York Times, Boston Globe, Washington Post, Huffington Post, CNN, NPR! The story CANNOT come from a professional journal or Psychology Today. DO NOT choose a story that is obviously about psychology or covers a research study (i.e. has psychology or a research study in the title or focus of the article).
